Are the panels made from real wood? Yes. All our panels are made from 100% natural hardwood — no veneers, no composites. Because wood is a natural material, variations in colour, grain, and texture may occur between panels. This natural variation is part of what makes each Asta Kayu wall truly unique.
Are Asta Kayu panels sustainably sourced? Yes. Sustainability is central to everything we do. All Asta Kayu wall panels are made using FSC®-certified hardwood, meaning the wood comes from responsibly managed forests that meet strict environmental and social standards. We also hold SVLK certification — Indonesia's national timber legality assurance system — guaranteeing that every piece of wood we use is legally and sustainably sourced.

INSTALLATION
How do I install the wall panels? Our panels are designed for straightforward DIY installation. They can be mounted using a suitable construction adhesive or mounting kit, depending on your wall surface. Each collection uses a specific interlocking profile for seamless joining. We recommend following our full Installation Guide or consulting a professional installer for large projects.
Can the panels be installed in humid areas? Our wood panels are best suited for dry interior spaces. Installation in high-humidity areas such as bathrooms is not recommended unless proper ventilation and precautions are in place. For any doubts about your specific space, please contact us before purchasing.
Do I need a professional installer? Not necessarily. Many customers install our panels themselves using adhesive and basic tools. However, for large-scale projects or commercial spaces, we recommend professional installation for the best result.
Can I install the panels on any wall surface? Asta Kayu panels can be installed on most flat, clean, and dry surfaces including plaster walls, drywall, concrete, and wood. The surface must be dry, smooth, and stable before installation begins.
Can the panels be cut to size? Yes. Our panels can be cut using standard woodworking tools such as a circular saw or handsaw, making it easy to fit them to your exact wall dimensions. We recommend ordering 10% extra to allow for cuts and wastage.
How do I maintain the panels? Maintenance is simple. Dust the panels regularly with a dry cloth or soft brush. Avoid excessive moisture and harsh cleaning chemicals to preserve the natural wood finish and keep your panels looking their best for years to come.

Do you ship internationally? We currently ship within the Netherlands and to selected European countries including the United Kingdom. Shipping options and costs are displayed at checkout.
How long does delivery take? Estimated delivery times are:
- Netherlands: 2–5 business days
- Europe: 4–10 business days
- United Kingdom: 5–10 business days
Delivery times may vary depending on the courier and destination.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept iDEAL, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Bancontact, and other payment methods available at checkout. All payments are processed securely.
How are the panels packaged? All panels are carefully packaged in purpose-built carton boxes designed to protect them during transit. Each box contains a specific number of panels as listed on the product page.
RETURNS
Can I return my order? Yes. You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us at info@astakayu.com before sending a return so we can guide you through the process.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged? If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours at info@astakayu.com and include photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
How long do refunds take? Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will process your refund within 14 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
